Standard sessions are 50-minutes
Standard sessions are 50-minutes
Offered in 30-minute increments at prorated session rate.
Groups run 4-6 weeks, and are offered upon interest and advertisement throughout the year
Please cancel or change your appointment 48-hours ahead of your scheduled appointment time, Monday through Friday. This means to not incur a late fee or missed session charge, a 2PM Monday appointment will need to be cancelled or changed on the preceding Friday before 2PM. If a fee does occur, the credit card on file will be charged 1/2 of a standard session fee. These fees are not covered by out-of-pocket reimbursement. Available slots are limited and not double-booked, so any notice above 48-hours is greatly appreciated, as it increases the chances of someone else being seen and allows this time to be better used.
For ease in cancelling or changing your appointment, please visit the Patient Portal—a HIPAA-compliant web-based service for all your clerical needs. This feature is accessible day or night and allows you to address scheduling issues without having to wait for a call back during business hours, which sometimes is not until the next business day, or longer if the office is closed. If you do not have access to the Patient Portal, and you need to change your appointment, please call your therapist and leave a detailed message regarding your cancellation. In doing so, please provide the best number to reach you and indicate if it is ok to leave a message. Thank you.
Costs are based at the rate of a standard psychotherapy session and prorated in 15 minutes increments. These services pertain to on-going client management needs outside of session (not related to scheduling and billing), and may include phone therapy, review of medical records from a third party, care conferences, letters and forms written on your behalf, as well as off-site representation, etc.
In order to avoid dual relationships and conflicts of interest, Eastside Insight does not take mandated clients or those seeking behavioral health services for legal cases. If, for any reason, the therapist is requested in a legal matter, the party responsible for this involvement agrees to reimburse for all work related to participation (i.e., travel, court testimony, written affidavits, etc.) at time and a half of the therapist’s hourly rate.
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) allows for reasonable cost-based fees for providing medical records to patients (45 CFR 164.524(c)). These fees, as they apply to Washington state, are set forth below:
