Affordability, Accountability & Access to Services
We engage in fee transparency, meaning our rates are set within consideration of the consumer guide, Fair Health; which is a free, non-profit public index and look-up tool, searchable by zip code, where you can find information related to the Usual, Customary, and Reasonable (UCR) fee of a medical procedure in your area.
Moreover, while our fee schedule is the same across all pay models, we aim to honor the differences among our clients, as well as honor clients who provide prompt payment so that we can do what we do best--be your therapist, not your biller. This means ALL out-of-network reimbursements go directly to our clients, not to us. And if we do not have to bill your insurance, then the savings recouped from this expensive billing practices will be passed back onto you.
Unfortunately telehealth is more prone to connection issues when done from home, as internet speeds and telecom hardware and infrastructure tend to be more robust in a commercial office setting. On days when your therapist has to connect from home, instead of the office, you will receive between a 10% to 13% credit back for any connection issues.
We strive to model honesty, accountability, and fairness, and sometimes in order to show this, it means putting our money where your mouth is. If a therapist is unable to see you due to accidently double-booking or missing your name on their schedule, then in these instances, which are fortunately very rare, the therapist will provide a late cancel/no show credit to you.
We also hold pro bono (free) slots. These pro bono spots are often full, but we do maintain a wait list for those seeking this service.
Telehealth is another area of service where we believe providers can help those who would not necessarily be able to participate in therapy or access this service.
Eastside Insight has invested in IT services that have been tailored to provide telehealth services in the most highly secure, HIPAA-compliant, and yet user-friendly manner possible.
