Go to “Our Therapists” page in Footer or under About Us tab and you’ll see a banner with the status of who is open. You can also click on the therapist’s name to see when a therapist will be taking clients again on their about page (located under “update”). Alternatively, when you book a new consultation, it will also show you who is currently taking on new clients.
Each therapist holds between 3 to 5 consultation spots a week on their schedule to provide several options for people looking to book a spot; and these are displayed when you go to book a consultation. If you do not see a time that works for you send us a contact form providing at least 3 alternative options and the best way to reach you. If one of those options works, we will book the consultation and you will get an email notification asking to confirm. If none of the times suggested work, we will reach out to you at the number provided to try to find a time that does.

This depends on what type of services you need. Per new laws, each Good Faith Estimate (GFE) must have a reference number attached to an assigned person. To do this, we must now have people sign up for an Ei Account. To learn more about the Ei Account, you can go to the Footer to locate the “Ei Account” page, or to the Costs tab.
Alternatively, when you book a 15 minute complementary consultation, this information will be provided as well.
We are Self-Pay/Out-of-Network Providers. This means that we are not on insurance panels, so we are not in-network; however, we are fully licensed, and so we can provide you with a superbill so that you can seek out-of-network reimbursements from your insurance, and we can help you in terms of understanding this process. We also can recommend ways of submitting your superbills so that you are getting the most and fastest reimbursement possible.
That is why we created our website, to provide you with as much info as possible, in order to convey a sense of what therapy is. However, speaking directly to a therapist will probably help tremendously too, and which is one of the reasons why we offer free 15-minute consultations. If in our conversation we realize we cannot provide what you are looking for, then we will give whatever knowledge we might have to get you to the right place.

Unfortunately we do not. We have in the past, but since we are not in-network, it means insurance has even less incentive to process claims timely or at all, resulting in accounting and billing fees that cost more than the sessions fees we were trying to seek reimbursement for in the first place.

No we do not as we routinely carry Pro Bono clients on our case load already. There are ways though to receive credits for engaging in prompt pay, which can be used for your next bill, and these credits are offered every session you engage in prompt pay practices (except Intake sessions). We also use credits to incentivize therapy work in other ways, as while it is always difficult to say goodbye (tearful in fact), it is our goal to graduate you, and so finding ways to do that is something we take seriously.
