Your time is valuable! Our time together is valuable! To help keep your session for what it is for—therapy—every consideration has been made in creating a process for payments & invoicing that is as easy as possible.
Accepted Payment Options
We DO NOT accept virtual Credit Card payments from Insurance Payors or other Third-Party Vendors as doing so will create inaccurate accounting in the client ledger, higher administrative costs, as well as delay in payment.
Payment Model: Fee-For-Service
Our providers are not salary, nor paid hourly, but rather operate fee-for-service schedules, meaning therapists will only accept a client onto their case load if there is a reoccurring spot in their schedule to do so—aka, we do not double or overbook appointments to offset the costs of cancellations, have you go weeks waiting to be seen, or leave you in the lobby longer than a standard grace period (which we extend both ways). It also means we are not restricted by service limits or required to meet certain quotes, which allows us to tailor therapy based on each person’s individual needs. All of this allows for greater transparency, even down to the literal sense of ‘on paper’ as it means fees associated to each service rendered by the provider are itemized, rather than lumped together or bundled.

Processing Payment
So that no extra time is spent collecting payment at the start of session, the credit card you have provided will be charged, typically within 1-2 weeks after your session. All credit cards are processed through an FDIC-insured payment gateway that is seamlessly integrated into our encrypted behavioral health software.
PCI-Compliant
What does this jargon really mean though, right? It means we practice data security standards set forth by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) that precludes us from having full access to your credit card information, as well as from storing this information within our behavioral health software or physically keeping it on file.
Statements
To further help maximize your therapy time, you can access your bills through the online Patient Portal at your own convenience. Here you can print off invoices or access superbills for out-of-network insurance reimbursements. This paperless option also allows you to save these documents to your computer for your own records, or when wanting to submit electronically to a third party, etc.
Self-Activation of Payment
If you prefer to process your payment yourself, you can do so at any time using our on-line terminal, as well as change the credit card on file; which can be done through your own private Client Portal—a HIPAA-compliant web-based service for all your clerical needs. New clients will be provided with a link to set up a secure account for the Client Portal during the initial scheduling process.
